On April 2, 2001, W.R. Grace & Co. voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The WRG Asbestos PI Trust was organized to process, liquidate, and pay all valid asbestos personal injury claims for which W.R. Grace has legal responsibility.
The purpose of the Trust is to provide fair, equitable and substantially similar treatment for all PI Trust claims that may presently exist or may arise in the future in substantially the same manner.
